I DON'T THINK I WILL BE THE ONLY McCAIN DEMOCRAT!

US Democrats in Florida quandary

There are dark clouds looming over the Democratic Party in the Sunshine State.

After Florida's drawn out re-count in 2000, which brought the US presidential election to its messy conclusion, the state once again finds itself in controversial electoral waters.

The difference this time, is that it is not Democrat versus Republican, but Democrat versus Democrat..........................................

Risk of defection

Lia Gaines is one of those disgruntled Democrats. A Barack Obama supporter from Palm Beach County, she usually works to mobilise young voters.

If she is not satisfied with the legitimacy of the Florida primary process, she might mobilise herself for another party's candidate.

"I'll consider Ralph Nader or John McCain," she says, "sometimes you've got to make a stand as a matter of conscience".

Whoever is to blame, that kind of reply is bound to concern Democratic party leaders. In John McCain, the Republicans have a candidate who appeals to many independents and moderate Democrats

The Democratic National Committee says that rules are rules. Its chairman, Howard Dean, is calling on the candidates and the offending states to come up with a suitable compromise.

For Democrats, Increased Fears of a Long Fight

Lacking a clear route to the selection of a Democratic presidential nominee, the party’s uncommitted superdelegates say they are growing increasingly concerned about the risks of a prolonged fight between Senators Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama
, and perplexed about how to resolve the conflict.

Obama's disturbing Africentrism

The socialist beliefs of Barack Obama's church should be a major concern to voters because they are far out of the mainstream of American thought. Obama's connection to the militant opposition leader in Kenya and his supporting militant Islamic groups trying to overthrow the U.S.-friendly government in that country should be of concern. Al-Qaida would love to see the takeover of Kenya occur.

Looking at Obama and black liberation theology

Barack Obama belongs to an unabashedly Black African-centered church. Its teachings focus on a "black value" system. It has knowledgeable Americans questioning how Obama's church (Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ) and its pastor, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Jr. influence the man who wants to be President of the United States.

THIS IS A MUST READ, IT IS ANOTHER LONG ONE BUT PLEASE TAKE THE TIME

WAS OBAMA IN THE CHURCH OR NOT?

Well lets see now, Obama says he was never there when things like that were said. I think Jim Davis of NewsMax.com would argue that with him.........

Obama's Church: Cauldron of Division
Jim Davis

Presidential candidate Barack Obama preaches on the campaign trail that America needs a new consensus based on faith and bipartisanship, yet he continues to attend a controversial Chicago church whose pastor routinely refers to "white arrogance" and "the United States of White America."

In fact, Obama was in attendance at the church when these statements were made on July 22.

Obama has spoken and written of his special relationship with that pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr.

Bush's Bulls--t

Wright's strong sentiments were echoed in the Sunday morning service attended by NewsMax.

Wright laced into America's establishment, blaming the "white arrogance" of America's Caucasian majority for the woes of the world, especially the oppression suffered by blacks. To underscore the point he refers to the country as the "United States of White America." Many in the congregation, including Obama, nodded in apparent agreement as these statements were made.

The sermon also addressed the Iraq war, a frequent area of Wright's fulminations.

"Young African-American men," Wright thundered, were "dying for nothing." The "illegal war," he shouted, was "based on Bush's lies" and is being "fought for oil money."

In a sermon filled with profanity, Wright also blamed the war on "Bush administration bulls--t."

Those are the types of statements that have led to MSNBC's Tucker Carlson describing Wright as "a full-blown hater."

MORE ON MR.OBAMA

Obama's church

Trinity United Church of Christ is big on social and political activism, plus big on controversy for its favorite son | Daniel James Devine

CHICAGO— The choir won't stand still at Trinity United Church of Christ, which Barack Obama has attended for 20 years. In dashikis and outfits of variegated patterns and colors—black stripes, radiant yellows and purples, networks of green and pink—150 singers are clapping, swaying in unison, and singing, "The Lord is blessing me, right now, oh, right now."

Hurry up and wait

Obama says his joining a church "came about as a choice, and not an epiphany." Choices do not bother secular Americans; epiphanies do. Joining a church to fight loneliness makes it as unobjectionable as joining a social club, but his affiliation serves as an antidote to evidence-less charges that Obama is secretly a Muslim. He says, "I've been to the same church, the same Christian church, for almost 20 years"—and he's listened to the same far-left pastor.

WHO IS VOTING FOR WHO.........

Obama Gets Scant White Support in MS

WASHINGTON (AP) — Whites largely shunned Barack Obama in Mississippi's Democratic presidential primary on Tuesday as the Deep South showed once again its reluctance to embrace him across racial lines.

While nine in 10 blacks lined up behind the Illinois senator, about three-fourths of whites supported Hillary Rodham Clinton, according to preliminary figures from an exit poll of voters across Mississippi. That made the state's contest one of the most racially divided this year.

That division was all Obama needed because voters were split evenly between the two races.
