Well, I am wondering if Obama's press conference did any good yesterday. I think we won't ever really know because Clinton was already going up in the polls after her big win in Pennsylvania so if he goes down it may not be from all the press Reverend Wright got over the weekend right into Monday. For me it did no good because Wright said the same things he had been saying on the Youtubes, just worded it different. Obama stayed in that church for 20 years and he can't just sweep it under the rug now when it is what he needs to do to gets votes. As Rev. Wright said "He is just saying what he is saying because thats what politicians do." Twenty years is an awful long time to go to a church if you don't agree with what is coming from behind the pulpit. If you have not seen the youtubes watch Best of Jeremiah Wright's Sermons Pt. 1 and Best of Jeremiah Wright's Sermons Pt. 2 and decide for yourself if this can be swept away.

I have been doing a little reading today and I don't think some are giving him a pass on the reverend. Here is my short list and I will up date with polls and stuff as it comes out.

GREAT WAY TO START YOUR DAY.....UPDATED

What a great start for this Tuesday morning. I would like to start everyday with an endorsement for Senator Clinton. Here is a piece from the Charlotte Observer that tells you more about Gov. Easley and his endorsement. They actually covered it on CNN and MSNBC. I was shocked because they have not mentioned a lot of Clinton's endorsements in the past. Could it be because Rev. Wright threw Obama under the bus yesterday? Who knows but if I were a superdelegate I would be very worried if I had endorsed Obama. Why do I say that, because Rev. Wright is back and is making a lot of headlines. I have been watching this primary closely and when you add everything up Obama is not electable. Rev. Wright and his God Damn America, government gave the people AIDS and all of his other Anti-American talk he spews out of his mouth. Mr. Obama stayed in that church for 20 years under his teachings and from his wifes words about the first time she is proud of this country, how mean America is etc.... Throw in "Typical White Person"....they cling to there guns and religion and antipathy to those who don't look like them, Mr. Obama not putting his hand on his chest during the pledge to the flag. Shall I go on?... Rev. Wright and Mr. Obama are already staring in four republican ads and we have not even finished the primary season. I heard yesterday on television from a republican......"All this is typical for democrats, the hate for America.".......Well I am a democrat and I want no part of that label. I love this country. If Mr. Obama gets the nomination I will no longer be a democrat, I will change to independent. I say again Mr. Obama is not electable, and if you have been paying attention you would know that.

One bonus for Barack Obama (D-IL) as he campaigns in Indiana is that so many friends from his home state can just drive across the state line to help him out.

Then again, it's also a short trip for the occasional hometown pol who has been crossed by Obama, such as one featured guest doing the Hoosier tour today.

Joining Chelsea Clinton and other women leaders to campaign for Hillary Clinton today is Alice Palmer, the former state senator who picked Obama to be her successor back in the mid-90s. When she tried to reclaim her spot, though, Obama got her booted from the ballot.

IN HIS OWN WORDS............

From: DKdeepThroat

EVEN IF YOU DON'T...............

Even if you don't like Karl Rove you still need to read this piece from WSJ...."Is Obama Ready for Prime Time? Yes Karl Rove, I have been paying attention to what he is saying because I think it gives me some idea on how the general election is going to play out. In the piece from Karl he points out a few things......

With $42 million in the bank, money is the least of Sen. Obama's problems. He needs a credible message that convinces Democrats he should be president. In recent days, he's spent too much time proclaiming his inevitable nomination. But they already know he's won more states, votes and delegates.

His words wear especially thin when he was dealt a defeat like Tuesday's. Mr. Obama was routed despite outspending Hillary Clinton on television by almost 3-1. While polls in the final days showed a possible 4% or 5% Clinton win, she apparently took late-deciders by a big margin to clinch the landslide.

Where she cobbled together her victory should cause concern in the Obama HQ. She did better – and he worse – than expected in Philadelphia's suburbs. Mrs. Clinton won two of these four affluent suburban counties, home of the white-wine crowd Mr. Obama has depended on for victories before.

In the small town and rural "bitter" precincts, she clobbered him. Mr. Obama's state chair was Sen. Bob Casey, who hails from Lackawanna County in northeast Pennsylvania. She carried that county 74%-25%. In the state's 61 less-populous counties, she won 63% – and by 278,266 votes. Her margin of victory statewide was 208,024 votes.

Please take the time to go read it all. Here is another must read..."Osama Crashes the Democratic Party"... If you are looking for something to give you a little look at how Indiana might play out take a look at "For Indiana Voters, Talk of Change May Fall Flat"... If you are wanting a update on delegates after Tuesdays PA. victory for Hillary Clinton take a look at "Clinton Gains on Obama's Tally"...it might help you understand what Hillary is up against. The New York Post has a little piece I enjoyed and want to pass on to you called "A Revealing Battle" go ahead it is a short read. Now for a longer read take a look at this opinion piece..."Pennsylvania Results Mean Clinton Could Win the Popular Vote and Obama the Pledged Delegate Count"...shoot its title is even long....it is a good read when you have the time. I really like seeing this "Florida's back in thick of Demo mess" and this "Michigan is becoming Clinton's secret weapon"...we cannot win in November without voting in all 50 states why should the primary be any different, we have a right to have our votes counted no matter what state you come from. Here is a look at the popular vote at RCP. Interesting isn't it? Well I guess you have heard about the ad coming out in North Carolina today, I will end with it and if I come across a new poll or anything I will update. You have to know this is just a sampling of what Obama will be up against in November if he is in fact the nominee for the democratic party. If he is then the superdelegates didn't want to win the White House back this time around!

WHAT THE POLLS ARE SAYING AND MORE........

Clinton: Obama 'can' win, but I 'will' win

For weeks, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's central argument, aimed at Democratic superdelegates, has been that Sen. Barack Obama is unelectable in the fall. Then last week she said in a televised debate that her rival could win, appearing to undercut a central rationale for continuing her campaign.

"I don't see any contradiction at all. . . . He can be elected; I will be elected," Clinton said yesterday in an interview with The Inquirer at the Bonnet Lane Family Restaurant in Abington.

"I have carried the states that a Democrat must carry in order to win in November," Clinton said. "If you look at the electoral map, anything is possible, but it is more likely that the coalition I have put together is the winning coalition."

HELP STOP NANCY PELOSI!!!!!

HELP SHIRLEY GOLUB!

Pelosi challenger promises Bush impeachment

It's not well known, but House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has an additional anti-war primary challenger for her congressional seat in California's 8th District.

She's Shirley Golub, 61, who has worked on Dennis Kucinich's presidential campaigns this year and in 2004. The most prominent plank in her platform: impeachment of President Bush.

"It is outrageous and unacceptable that any member of Congress, let alone our majority speaker, should unilaterally declare that impeachment is 'off the table,' and so defy the Constitution herself," Golub said in a flier circulated to activists at the Take Back America conference.

Golub certainly has an uphill climb. In 2006, Pelosi defeated her Republican opponent Mike DeNunzio by a margin of 80 to 11 percent. She spent more than $1.8 million to DeNunzio's $149,000.

"This will set the stage for Cindy Sheehan," said Angelo Feste, a Golub campaign worker, referring to the anti-war activist who shot to prominence for her protesting techniques, including setting up camp outside Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas. Sheehan is running as a "Decline To State" candidate in Pelosi's district.

Golub has planned protests outside of Pelosi's San Francisco office each Thursday. Whether or not the publicity and exposure these protests give her enough momentum to serve as a giant toppler will be shown after the June 3 primary.

What We Learn Won't Help Obama

Eggheads and Cheese Balls

On January 15, 2008, nearly 600,000 Michigan Democrats went to the polls to make their voices heard in the Democratic Presidential primary. The popular vote in Florida and Michigan has been counted, certified by election officials in each state, and officially tallied by the secretary of state in each state.

Our votes cannot be ignored. We will not be disenfranchised.

The DNC’s refusal to count our votes and seat our delegates according to the ballots cast on January 15 compromises our civil liberties and our voting rights. This decision affects the rights of ALL Michigan residents regardless of political affiliation.

Michigan, let your voice be heard.

Join together in a grassroots effort to ensure voting privileges and protect the right to vote for future generations.

Demand that our votes be counted and delegates seated based on the Jan. 15 poll results or that a new Michigan primary take place.

Demand that the DNC’s Rules and Bylaws Committee take the necessary steps to ensure the voices of the people of Michigan are heard and its delegates are seated at the Democratic convention this summer.

DAY 6-BITTER CLING TO GUNS RELIGION.....

Well it is day 6 and I don't see it going away yet. This will bring him down in the general election. Why do I say that you ask, because the group of voters he was having a lot of trouble getting to vote for him was the very group he insulted. He was in a home filled with his supporters and didn't think any reporters were around to repeat what he said. Have you read this piece from Pajamas Media, Deep Inside 'Bittergate' in it the Obama campaign had this to say.........

from the standpoint of Obama campaign figures, the material was gotten under false pretenses. One top Obama hand speaks of the campaign and candidate being blindsided. Fowler was a supporter, a contributor, an activist, a blogger, not a reporter. With the event closed to the press, Obama spoke with less care than he would have otherwise had he known a reporter, of any sort, was in attendance.

Obama spoke with less care than he would have otherwise had he known a reporter, of any sort, was in attendance... Hmmm......So what else does he say when we have no way of finding out?...I guess we will never know now will we? We do know he said we "get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations." Am I bitter? The only thing I can really say I am bitter about is I feel like I have been lied to. I think George W. Bush has lied to America on many occasions. I don't like being lied to at all! I don't cling to a gun. Religion is not something you cling to it is something you live, something you practice everyday of your life by being kind to others and showing love and forgiveness. Yes forgiveness. Do I forgive Obama for saying this? No, because I feel he was saying what he really thought of Americans. I think the real Obama was speaking when he thought there were no reporters in the room. I can't speak for all Americans just as they can't speak for me but I don't like being put down and insulted. Do I have antipathy to people who aren't like me? No, we are all Gods children and we have a wonderful country that allows people from all over the world to come here and enjoy our freedoms. How dare he say Americans don't like people who aren't like them. Maybe he was speaking for himself but he was not speaking for me.

It is just like saying "Typical White Person." He likes to put Americans in groups, people who are racist won't vote for him, people who like guns won't vote for him, people who cling to their religion won't vote for him, people who don't like others because they don't look the same as they do won't vote for him, people who have a problem with free trade................. Who is left? Who will he criticize next? He seems to criticize people who won't vote for him and put them in groups. Well he criticized half of America and he needed those votes to win the general election. Add to that he is only a one term senator and does not have enough experience to run this country...... Then you have John McCain, he is a hero in the eyes of a lot of Americans and has fought for this country and he has fought president Bush on many occasion. These things will be the highlights of his campaign and that is why I say he can't win the general election.

UPDATE: This just proves my point!

REALLY TAKE A LOOK AT THIS...........

I put a link up to this below but I wanted to point it out to you again.....Take a good look at what is being said and see if you haven't seen others saying something similar. I am also posting a link here to some things you can watch. It is the author of the book speaking so you can be the judge.

New Book Says Barack Obama's Secret Guru Brzezinski Seeks Global Showdown with Russia, China

Obama will bring Great Depression at Home, World Tragedy Abroad, according to Intel Expert. Political analyst Webster Tarpley noticed uncanny parallels between the euphoria around the Obama candidacy and the "people power revolutions" that toppled pro-Russian governments in Eastern Europe. He started digging and sure enough, he found both phenomena to be the work of the same hand -- the Russophobe Brzezinski faction. Why do we know so little about Obama? Read Tarpley's new book and find out.

Washington, DC (PRWEB) April 15, 2008 -- The United States is in the grip of a soft coup, the Brzezinski faction has won over the power elite, and the neo-cons are already lame ducks -- since last fall, says veteran political analyst Webster Tarpley. He finds that "Zbig" also controls two of the three front runners for the presidency -- Barack Obama and John McCain, but that Obama is the elitist favorite for a facelift to the tottering empire.

Author Tarpley paints Obama as a Brzezinski protegé who has been scripted in the role of messianic figure, a key ingredient in the planned hysteria of the "people power" coups perfected by the CIA and its NGO's in Eastern Europe, and now brought home to short-circuit America's political process.

Thus the title of the just-released exposé, "Obama The Postmodern Coup: Making of a Manchurian Candidate." It depicts Barack Obama as a deeply troubled personality, a megalomaniac front man for a synthetic revolution by intelligence agencies using fake polls, mobs of swarming adolescents, super-rich contributors, and an orchestrated media honeymoon, to seize power.

Tarpley names Obama's close links to the Ford Foundation. He avers that Obama has never won public office in a contested election; that his guru and controller is Zbigniew Brzezinski, the "deranged revanchist and Russia-hater who dominated the catastrophic Carter presidency;" and that all indications are that Brzezinski recruited Obama at Columbia University a quarter century ago.

"Obama - The Postmodern Coup" advances the thesis that Trilateral Commission co-founder Brzezinski is seeking a global showdown with Russia and China, which is far more dangerous for the United States than the Bush-Cheney Iraq adventure. Obama's economics are seen as pure Skull & Bones/Chicago school austerity and sacrifice for American working families, designed to bail out the bankrupt Wall Street elitist financiers who own Obama.

The "people power" or mob mania aspect is characterized by Tarpley as "Obama's lemming legions and Kool-Aid cult candidacy," in which he sees an echo of Italy in 1919-1922, raising the question of postmodern fascism in the United States today. To sum up, he fears Obama is a recipe for a world tragedy.

Other startling points and viewpoints in this iconoclastic new work "Obama - The Postmodern Coup":
  • Obama is a weak candidate who could never win a general election without the help of scandals targeting his opponent.
  • In a fair vote, McCain would defeat Obama and take the world back into the fourteenth century and the time of the Hundred Years' War.
  • The push for a rump convention by Obama, Howard Dean and Donna Brazil could split the Democratic party.
  • Either a McCain or Obama victory would abort a return to the New Deal values under a Democratic administration, which is the only chance for America to escape a looming economic depression.
  • When Obama says bomb Pakistan and negotiate with Iran, he is expressing the Brzezinski strategy, which is to turn Iran against Russia as an expendable pawn of the US and the British.
  • Obama's first task will be to drive the Chinese out of Sudan and the rest of Africa, thus depriving them of oil and raw materials. Pakistan and other traditional Chinese allies will be targeted for destruction.
  • Brzezinski is behind the current Tibet "freedom fighters" insurrection, a plan to topple the current Chinese government and replace it with an anti-Russian one. "Zbig" has publicly admitted that he engineered the Al-Qaeda "mujahideen" gambit to provoke the Soviet-Afghan war in 1979.
  • Brzezinski's final goal is an attempt by an isolated and desperate China to seize the oil and minerals controlled by Russia in eastern Siberia.
  • Brzezinski's plan for World War III is an open secret, and will blow up in his face, taking us all down at the same time.
  • With Zbigniew and Mark Brzezinski running Obama, and Ian Brzezinski writing McCain's foreign policy speeches, Clinton is the only alternative to a "new and ruinous phase in the lunatic Brzezinski dynasty."
The author, Webster Griffin Tarpley (Massachusetts 1946) is an intelligence expert and historian who has been studying and exposing covert operations for over thirty years. He is the author of George Bush: The Unauthorized Biography (1992) and 9/11 Synthetic Terror (2005). He has also appeared on C-SPAN, CNN, Fox News, and many other programs.

Tarpley is an activist historian and political practitioner rather than an ivory-tower scholar, and "Obama: the Postmodern Coup" is a book with a mission. Yet he draws on an extensive store of erudition, historical precedents and inside knowledge of today's political players. Readers say the book is about much more than Obama or even Brzezinski or Carter. It's a crash course in the essentials you need to know about U.S. and world politics, but the media never wanted you to.

DAY- 5 OF OBAMA COMMENT

There is a new Quinnipiac Poll out today. April 15, 2008 - Clinton Stalls Obama, Holds 6-Point Pennsylvania Lead, Quinnipiac University Poll Finds; Many Clinton Dems Would Back Mccain Over Obama. That is the only poll out so far for today. I will update later. Her is a bit of it......

In this latest survey of 2,103 likely Democratic primary voters by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN uh-pe-ack) University, 26 percent of Clinton supporters would switch to Arizona Sen. John McCain, the Republican, in November if Obama were the Democratic nominee. Nineteen percent of Obama backers would switch to McCain if Clinton were the Democratic nominee. A look at other groups shows:
  • White voters for Clinton 57 - 37 percent, compared to 56 - 38 percent last week;
  • Black voters back Obama 86 - 8 percent, compared to 75 - 17 percent;
  • Women back Clinton 54 - 40 percent, unchanged from 54 - 41 percent last week;
  • Men are for Obama 51 - 43 percent, compared to a 48 - 44 percent tie last week;
  • Reagan Democrats back Clinton 55 - 40 percent;
  • Voters under 45 go with Obama 55 - 39, while older voters back Clinton 55 - 40 percent.

"A bigger problem for Democrats looms in Pennsylvania. One out of four Clinton voters, including a third of men, say they will vote for Republican Sen. John McCain in November if Obama is the Democratic candidate."

Please go and read the poll at Quinnipiac.

Obama missing the point
For Obama to say what he said is to minimize not only the plight of rural people, but to minimize the people themselves. If John McCain or Hillary Clinton had made similar comments about urban residents or African-Americans, they would be universally decried as racists and would stand about as much chance of becoming our next president as David Dukes, the former Louisiana legislator who was an avowed supporter of the Ku Klux Klan.

CAN OBAMA REALLY BE THAT STUPID/DUMB?

Is Obama really that out of touch with America and politics. He demanded an apology from U.S. Rep. Geoff Davis today for calling him a "boy" and "comparing Obama and his message for change similar to a "snake oil salesman." I think what else was said at that dinner is much more important and I would have never known if he had not demanded an apology. Don't know what I am talking about? Let me tell you all about it...........The republicans held a dinner in Northern Kentucky and this Davis man was there and well read this............

The Republicans specifically skewered Democratic presidential candidate and Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, perhaps as a signal that they expect -- or hope -- that he is that party's nominee against McCain.

"I fear the two Democrats, one in particular, is incredibly naive," McConnell said, adding that five years ago when the U.S. Senate voted to go to war in Iraq, Obama was in the Illinois state senate. "This is the big leagues now. At what point do you turn off the demagoguery and become a serious, responsible leader?"

U.S. Rep. Geoff Davis, a Hebron Republican, compared Obama and his message for change similar to a "snake oil salesman."

He said in his remarks at the GOP dinner that he also recently participated in a "highly classified, national security simulation" with Obama.

"I'm going to tell you something: That boy's finger does not need to be on the button," Davis said. "He could not make a decision in that simulation that related to a nuclear threat to this country."

Source: Republicans talk about Iraq, Obama at N. Ky. dinner

Did you see it? Yes "boy" is there and "snake oil salesman." Well this is what caught my eye.....

Is the press covering this? Well I want to know more about this "highly classified, national security simulation" that Obama could not make a decision in.

I was so disappointed in Jake Tapper tonight when I saw how he had covered it. Jake is all upset over Obama being called a boy because he is 46 years old and running for president. Didn't even mention the highly classified, national security simulation....... I have been waiting for something and Jake gives me "BOY"! Where does one have to go in this country to get the real story?!?!?! Get this Jake calls his piece " The Most Offensive Comment Yet" What a joke............ If you have found more on this please point me to it. I know one thing the MSM won't cover it. Might hurt Obama you know how they are.

Wayne LaPierre Interprets Obama's Remarks

April 14, 2008 1:13 PM

Wayne LaPierre, the executive vice president of the NRA, has some thoughts on Sen. Barack Obama's "small town" comments that he's sharing exclusively with ABC News.

"American gun owners have for years understood the elitist concept of special privileges for the few," LaPierre says. "The same few who look down their nose at the people who respect basic American traditions like flying the flag, going to church, owning a gun, and believing in the Bill of Rights. Obama’s statement is a crack in the door that gives all of us a peek as to how the 'special' people look at the rest of us. Americans can read that code.

DAY-3 UPDATE....BITTER-GUNS-RELIGION

From: truthtelling007

DAY-3...BITTER-CLING TO GUNS OR RELIGION OR ANTIPATHY

I have been reading the on line papers again today and yes there is a lot out there on this Sunday morning. Barack Obama is still standing by his words but the press seems to just be covering the "Bitter" part of his comment more than anything. I found this piece from RealClearPolitics a good read. It points out how John Kerry said that he "actually did vote for the $87 billion before I voted against it" and that was what lost him the election. We will have to wait and see if Barack Obama's comment.. "You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years. ... And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.".. has the same effect. David Kuhn does call it "Obama's Great Mistake."

There is a small piece of video from San Francisco that has some upset. Will anymore of this video come out for the rest of America to see? Who knows, it is an Obama supporter who released that snippet so I doubt it. I won't rattle on here if you want a list of the Sunday news here it is.
