A LOT GOING ON TODAY.........

I haven't looked around much today but I know I can't get No Quarter to open so he must have been hacked again. Taylor Marsh has a piece about her and her blog up this morning. It comes from the Washington Post....It starts out with.....

-LAS VEGAS -- Blogger Michelle Marshall has a confession to make. She's one die-hard Clintonite who has already moved on. She's ready to vote for Sen. Barack Obama.

But don't tell that to the legions of
Hillary Clinton fans who have made Marshall their de facto leader. They're the faithful, the ones who call themselves "Marshans," read her posts every day, send checks to her Web site and refuse to believe that anyone other than Clinton can beat Sen. John McCain.

I guess most of her bloggers will fall in line behind Obama but not this one. I see the comments are still rolling in at her site........

Mark Halperin has an interesting take on things...Really you should take a look...

HALPERIN’S TAKE: What Obama And Clinton Underestimate

Hillary is speaking at AIPAC now....needless to say I did not watch Obama speak so I can't update you on that but I am sure The Page will have it covered for both of them.

Have you seen this yet...The popular vote.

Clinton.....17,802,300

Obama......17,501,751

And I will follow up with.....

BREAKING NEWS: Dean, Pelosi, Reid set Friday deadline for superdelegates' choices, move to force end to Clinton bid

With the final primary concluded barely hours before, top Democratic Party leaders in Washington early this morning ratcheted up the pressure to force all remaining uncommitted superdelegates to make their choice of candidate known by Friday -- and thus end the now hopeless, one-time frontrunning campaign of New York Sen. Hillary Clinton.

Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean is among top party leaders setting a Friday deadline for superdelegates to endorse Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama

The joint statement was obviously pre-planned and timed for issue shortly after Clinton refused to concede the presidential nomination's victory to Barack Obama, who's gained sufficient delegates to clinch the party's nomination.

Howard Dean, chairman of the Democratic National Committee, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and West Virginia Gov. Joe Manchin, chairman of the Democratic Governors Assn., issued the brief statement for unity just minutes ago:

"The voters have spoken," they said, adding later, "Democrats must now turn our full attention to the general election. To that end, we are urging all remaining uncommitted super delegates to make their decisions known by Friday of this week, so that our party can stand united."

get it all here

"The voters have spoken," Well yes they have and more of them voted for Clinton but the crazy democratic party does not recognize the will of the voters as we all saw last Saturday when they gave Obama 4 of Clinton's delegates. My vote will go to McCain in November and I am not alone. There will be many Clinton supporters going to McCain. I will not vote for a person who has no experience to run this country.

I say it is time to join McCain and give to his campaign. You don't have to give a lot. I suggest you give $2.02....The $2.00 represents your second choice and the 2 cents...well it is what ever you want it to say as in "my 2 cents = just to let the democratic party know what I think of their nominee." Give if you want...I am not telling you what to do but we must make a statement to let the democrats know we will not support "their" choice. If you have suggestions leave it in the comments and I will post it here. Also if you need a place to meet up I have listed places on the left..I go to Under The Bus mostly...Bud White has a good blog and I plan on keeping an eye on it. I enjoy reading his work.

Well that is all I have to say right now so I will catch you all later.....

GO McCAIN!!!

Hi, I am Annie from the "old" TM site. I found both you and HLF thank goodness. I am registering as an independant today after 32 years as a democrat. I think I'll tell the good senator Harry Reid (my state) what he has made me do. Here's to McCain as president. I am going to Denver. This isn't over for me just because Howie strong arms the rest of the SDs. IF I can't get her elected this time around, I can sure as hell protest the injustice of this crooked primary. Hope to see you there!

Taylor Marsh disgusts me. And all those foolish women keep flocking to the site because they can't believe she's already sucking up to Obama.

Glad for this site. I just purchased my NO Obama yard signs, and my Hillary Mccain sign. I like Hillary will be making a decision this week about my future with the Democratic Party. My problem is in New Jersey you can't vote independent in the primaries. Big decision. Thanks again for giving me a new site. By the way 40 years as a Democrat Sad day

Also left the TM site, but do not blame Taylor. She has a business to run and I respect that. The posts have been heading down hill for a few months there anyway.

Hey Ron - My vote is one more that will keep your idiot out of the White House. I consider it a public service to vote against Obama and will be proud to do so.

hey all i come from tm site too. call name kanaughty, but also use kanani va or kmiranda27 if you go to any other pro hillary blogs like liberal rapture or uppity or no quarter...

anyhoo, nice to meet you all. my decision to vote for mccain is because i know my voice won't be heard by the dem party any other way. we have wrote tirelessly, blogged and protested and even sent them shoes, but they do not listen, so i will give my vote to mccain so that they must find 2 voters to replace the vote i cast since i have always voted straight dem ticket for 15 years.

i too feel very disillusioned by my party. women and minorities are supposed to be the heart of the party, yet, they have thrown us under the bus and don't care what we think. they don't realize that the latino vote will easily go to mccain because mccain is friends with them. and a woman like myself finds that mccain is more centrist as hillary was, and bo is just too liberal and has too many radical friends. i don't trust him and so far his words don't match up to his actions, so screw him i say. he has destroyed this party, this affirmative action gone horribly wrong candidate bo...

anyhoo, i am really in a daze today how the party still won't listen to us and so that is not home anymore for me. i love all the stances they take, but the fact that they have no integrity in that regard in being the party that counts all votes, who believe in equality, and who listen to average americans... they have proven themselves very unethical and corrupt and lacking any sort of integrity especially on may 31...

although on may 31 i did see some great dem leaders in the folks who were defending every vote and hillary, like joyner, nelson, flourney, ickes and smith. these folks are true dems, but they are just overpowered by elites who don't care about us the people...

so my votes in the next elections will also be cast against any supers for bo that helped him to win because i want to take our party back for us the american people. the party and the government are supposed to be ours and they are supposed to be our representatives, but they don't listen and they will have to be expunged to the good core of the party of reps who are all about us the people :)
