A MUST READ.............................

Bamboozling the American electorate again

Strategy involves G.O.P. crossover voting to take out Clinton, marketing newcomer Obama, stripping battleground delegates, inciting a convention riot and (if necessary) declaring martial law before November's general election. Meanwhile, revelations about the Illinois senator's ties to Chicago political fixer Tony Rezko and his Iraqi billionaire buddies are downplayed by the press. For their part, Democratic Party leaders persist in efforts to circumvent the nominating process, even as Karl Rove emerges as a player at Rezko's trial.

Revised and updated May 10, 2008

Evidence of a covert campaign to undermine the presidential primaries is rife, so it's curious that many within both the Democratic and Republican parties have ignored the actual elephant in the room this year. That would be Karl Rove. Long accused of rigging the two previous presidential elections, this master of deceit would have us believe that he's gone off to sit in a corner and write op-eds this time around.

Not so. According to an article in Time magazine last November, Republicans have been organized in many states to throw their weight behind Senator Barack Obama, hoping to deprive Senator Hillary Clinton of the Democratic nomination. While Rove's name isn't mentioned in the story, several former fundraisers and strategists for President Bush are identified. Together, these gentlemen helped flush Obama's coffers with cash early on in the race, something the deep pockets had not done for any candidate in their own party. With receipts topping $100 million in 2007, the first-term Illinois senator achieved a remarkable feat, given that most Americans only first heard of him in 2005...............

Mecklenburg, Wake find vote flaws

MECKLENBURG & WAKE COUNTIES -- Vote tallies are changing in the state’s two largest counties, after certain ballots were counted twice in Mecklenburg and Wake counties.

The mistake didn’t change the outcome of any elections, but it is a cause for concern to election directors. For example, when Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama declared victory Tuesday night in North Carolina’s primary, he was given approximately 15,000 votes more than he should have been. That’s 1 percent of all ballots cast.

In Wake County, early and absentee ballots were counted as part of the individual voters precincts and again as a whole. “So in essence, those voters were recorded double,” said Cherie Poucher of the Wake Co. Board of Elections. It was around 37,000 votes.

In Mecklenburg County, only absentee ballots – 2,400 in all – were doubled. “It doesn’t change any of the results,” said Michael Dickerson of the Mecklenburg Co. Board of Elections. “All the winners are still the winners.”

30yrdem...I have seen your posts on TM...I am not a member there because of her pro Obama leanings but do appreciate what you and some of the others have to say. Would like to join here if possible. I have been a supporter of Hillarys since Bill was governor of Arkansas. Just want to say thanks for all you are doing.

I am here 30yrdem. I just joined LChris' group as well, I think you have to have a google address to join but that is easy to do:

Thank you 30yrdem...I just joined Under the Bus. You are so right we need a place to meet. I am 57 years old and have voted in every election since I have been eligible to vote and always voted Democrat. If Hillary is not the nominee then I will either sit it out of vote McCain. Have not decided what is the best to do. I would much rather have McCain in there than Obama any day. The Democratic party has gone astray...I cannot be a part if it the way it is now. The way they have treated Hillary is criminal in my opinion. I am writing to Dodd and letting him know that he does not speak for me and no way would I ever vote Obama. For him to go announce that we will support Obama galls me to no end. He is in for a huge surprise.

I don't think TM understands that Obama is destroying the Democratic party worse than any Republican ever could...many are going to walk away and never come back. My conscience is clear if I vote for McCain. I have to be able to live with myself and voting for Obama would not allow me to do that.

Sorry...thought you all left...we need to be careful what we say at TM, don't want to cause her trouble over our plans...I have posted a little at under the bus and put up a couple more links here under great places. Operation Independent and Declare yourself.....Just learning how Under the bus works...trying thing out.

Re: Bamboozling the American electorate again...Karl Rove's evil fingerprints once again. He never goes away and is never held accountable...wonder if there will ever be a day of justice for that evil one. I doubt it.

spirited one,
I doubt it also...they do say what goes around comes around.

I have been over at Under the bus..I need to update here.

I was hoping he would be indicted but then I thought what good would it do. He would only be pardoned. I honestly now think he left the White House to do his evil deeds under the radar so to speak. If you do a Google Image search Rove Obama...this is what you get. http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=Rove+Obama&btnG=Search+Images&gbv=2 Need I say more?

A lot of pictures with the two of them...Have you heard him give advise to Obama on Fox News?...Sorry my comments wouldn't open and I have been over at Under the bus again. It is starting to come together.Doing some reading...needed to put something up here today.

I am glad to see Terry hanging in there for Hillary...

SpiritedOne said...

They sure are in a hurry to get Hillary out. If they are so confident that they are going to win then why not let the primaries play out and let everyone vote. To think this was the party who wanted every vote counted. Yea right...that sure went by the wayside. It's a party I no longer recognize. I think Terry very much knows what he is talking about...I believe he said he has done this for 20 or 30 years.

Been out of town since yesterday morning- what's going on? As you know, there's no way I can ever vote for Obama. I'm rationalizing my possible vote for McCain this way. It looks as though the Congress will have a majority of Dems after the fall elections. If McCain were elected POTUS, the Congress could balance out any of his policies that - Sumpreme Court Justices, etc.- I'd have problems with. McCain COULD work in a bi-partisan environment- I doubt Obama (and his handlers could!!)

I am dreading an Obama-MCain contest because I KNOW that Obama will ridicule McCain in any way he would like- look what he did to Hillary!

I'll look for more info on under the bus here. Take Care.
